Lake Fork, world famous for its bass fishing, has beautiful, luxury waterfront homes as well as great golf course homes. There are two 18 hole golf courses located on Lake Fork. We specialize in selling luxury, waterfront homes, waterfront lots, residential homes, farm & ranches and rural acreage.
I’ve always believed that success comes from two simple things: honesty and hard work. My 22-year career in real estate illustrates the truth of this philosophy. From breaking records in my first year as a sales agent to building a multi-million-dollar real estate company from the ground up, I’m driven to lead with integrity and “outwork” everyone else.
As the founder of Lone Star Realty, I collaborate with an exceptional group of agents to showcase and sell a stunning array of waterfront and residential homes, farm and ranch properties, and rural tracts in 13 counties across East Texas, including my office on “World Famous Bass Fishing Lake”, Lake Fork. Since Lone Star Realty’s humble beginnings as a home-based company in 2003, it has grown into a network of four offices which have collectively closed almost $700,000,000 in sales, including more than $122,000,000 I have brought in personally.
Buying or selling any property represents a major transition; I help customers feel confident as they achieve milestones and realize long-held dreams. As a trusted guide, I connect with clients and understand their priorities throughout the process, from narrowing down initial options to negotiating the final purchase. Recognized by the Greater Tyler Association of Realtors for my industry acumen, I served on GTAR’s committees for 11 years. Recently I was nominated to 2021 Five Star Real Estate agent. This nomination came from my past clients.
Although I’ve lived and breathed real estate for over two decades, I started on a very different path. After graduating from the University of Texas in 1974 with a degree in Advertising and moving to East Texas with my wife Barbara, we launched Alexander Campbell, a women’s sportswear line, in 1985. The venture proved a success, becoming a multi-million-dollar sportswear company shipping to approximately 33 states in the US as well as Mexico, Canada and Puerto Rico. We sold the company in 1997 and, at my wife’s suggestion, both of us became licensed realtors in the summer of 1999. Wish I had made this decision when I was 25.
Our three children are a source of continual pride, as are our grandchildren. We love Great Danes and currently have two, a Mantle and a Harlequin. Outside of work, my wife and I are dedicated Longhorns fans. I enjoy fishing with Barbara at our lake house and playing golf whenever I get the chance with my family. My passion for my work, however, is my main interest. In these uncertain times, I hope to continue serving our customers with the same honesty and integrity that have helped my business flourish. As Mark Twain advised, “Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest.”

My name is Kathy Blackstead. I have been a licensed & active Realtor since 1993. I am a member of the Texas Assoc. of Realtors and the National Assoc. of Realtors. I spent 21 years working for the same brokerage company in Irving. During that time, I served on several different committees for our local association of Realtors. In 2003 I was voted to the highest position in our association and that was President of The Irving Las Colinas Association of Realtors. Being President of our Association was a great experience for me. It provided me a wonderful opportunity of seeing and working in real estate from the local level, to the state level and also at the national level.
I enjoy the journey of working with both buyers and sellers, helping them through all the various aspects of a real estate transaction. I relocated to Rains County from the DFW metroplex area in 2014. I have a lot of family and friends here. I love the country life! Living and working in this area, I continue with my desire to help clients with ALL their real estate needs.
Whether Buying or Selling, the process is all about YOU! Call me, Let's talk!

My name is Megan Chaney. I grew up in Hunt County, so I am very familiar with it and the surrounding area. I now live in Sulphur Springs, which is Hopkins County. And I have decided to put my real estate license with Lone Star Realty which will make me proficient in Wood and Rains County which means I will be able to serve four of the best counties in East Texas.
God has blessed me with a wonderful husband who works in Law Enforcement. No, I cannot get you out of any tickets but I can help you with real estate. Together, we have three beautiful children. Originally, I wanted to go into education but decided I would enjoy real estate more. My husband and I built our first home and I loved the entire process. It also turned out to be a great investment. We then decided to move to Hopkins County where we bought another property. Completely remodeled that home, and this is the home we currently reside in. I enjoy working with the architecture of a home. I had so much enjoyment redesigning and changing a home's style, look and feel. I wanted more. This is when I knew what I wanted to do. I wanted to become a real estate agent and help people with what might be the largest financial decision of their lives. What I enjoy doing the most is being able to help people see the potential in homes and to help them envision how to make it their own. Buying or selling a home can be stressful. As an agent, I want to make sure each transaction is as stress-free as possible with integrity and attention to detail. Let me help you find the place you've always dreamed of calling home!
Homegrown & Home-known! As a resident of East Texas for the past 20 years, I know the ins and outs of these roads we “locals” call home. My name is Whitney Waite and I am the real estate agent to talk to in order to get that local experience.
When I was four, my family decided to move to the quaint little town of Winnsboro, Texas. After high school, I moved to Frisco, Texas where I worked in the food and beverage industry for 3 years until I decided to make the career move into real estate. Quickly licensed, it was time for me to decide where to market myself.
The decision was easy! I wanted to move back to my family and roots in beautiful East Texas. My hope is that through real estate, others can discover that same beauty and fall in love with it, as I have.
In my free time, I enjoy lake days, time with friends, hiking, fishing, my gym time and home improvements. I’m also a proud dog-mom to an American Red Doberman named Vinny.
Whether you're in the market to Buy or Sell, let me be the one to make your next real estate transaction a smooth and exciting experience!
See ya soon!
