Being a native Texan and sports enthusiast and life-long fan of The University of Texas, I attended the University from 1973 through 1977 where I met my husband John. We moved to East Texas to own and operate a women's sportswear line called Alexander Campbell, Inc. until it was sold in 1997. After a small break, I decided to get my real estate license in 1999. Our real estate bus iness began to grow and by the spring of 2010 we opened our third office in Mineola, Texas which is the office I operate out of. I have been a multi-million dollar producer ever since. I love selling in the Mineola area but have listed and sold in over 7 counties and as far away as Forney, Texas. My husband and I both love to sell waterfront properties. We sat down one day and figured out we have sold waterfront properties on over 23 area lakes. When I am not working real estate, you can usually find me at the gym or watching college sports and cheering on my beloved Longhorns. John and I have been married over 37 years. We have three, wonderful, grown children. Two of the three are married and our last child is getting married in Lima, Peru later this year.
I have been selling real estate since 2005 and I absolutely love it. I first started selling out at Lake Fork while living in Lake Fork Ranches. I love the small town feel of the rural area that surrounds Lake Fork and yet this lake attracts people from all around the world because of its reputation for largemouth bass. At one time I believe Lake Fork had the record of 15 out of 21 of the largest big mouth bass caught in the United States. Working in this area I had to learn selling everything from country homes, residential homes, log homes and of course the luxurious, waterfront homes. I also got to sell farm and ranch property and one of my favorites, East Texas rural acreage with those huge pine trees and massive hardwoods.
After meeting my husband, my life's journey took me to the beautiful, snow cap, mountains of Colorado. Did I quit selling real estate? Nope, I just got my Colorado’s real estate license and picked up where I left off but this time with a little higher elevation. In 2014, we decided to move back to my favorite home state of Texas. There was just so much we missed about Texas and especially East Texas. My passion for real estate continues. I love helping people. I love helping sellers close on their home which allows them to move on and find a new home to start creating new memories. Or helping buyers purchase their new home and begin making new friends which later become their close friends.
I am a wife, a mother and a grandmother. I have 6 beautiful grandchildren who I adore. When I have spare time, I enjoy decorating our home, wake-boarding on many of our surrounding lakes, hiking in the woods, fishing Lake Fork, taking trips, dining with family and friends and let’s not forget our beaches.
When you are ready to jump in and make that decision to buy or sell, call me and let’s jump in together.
